Bylaws Committee

“Article X Committees Sec 1 (b) 1. Bylaws Committee. When the membership decides that the bylaws need to be reviewed or specific changes to the bylaws need to be considered, it shall at that time elect a committee consisting of not fewer than five members.”

The Bylaw Committee was formed by the membership at their 26 October 2014 membership meeting to review and strengthen their bylaws because they became concerned after HPPOA and its directors were served with a lawsuit filed in Jul/Aug 2014.  The BLC is working with the bylaws holistically.  When one bylaw is changed, it can unintentionally affect another bylaw.  The Bylaw Committee is putting their best efforts forward to present new and amended bylaw proposals to serve in the best interests of the Association.
